Well it looks as though we are in the home stretch of what would be the third repeal of Maine's statewide anti-discrimination policy. With 71% of precints now reporting here are the up-to-date results on 'Question 1'.

Maine gay rights repeal: 43% of Precints Reporting
No: 56.10%
Yes: 43.90%

Yes: 43.46%

Maine gay rights repeal:: 25% of Precints Reporting
No: 57.31%

Texas voters approve anti-gay marriage amendment

Texas Marriage Amendment: 22% of precints reporting
76% for amendment / 24% against

Maine gay rights repeal: 24% of precints reporting
57% against repeal / 43% for it
